Tak sangka

tak sangka yang si dia sudah berpunya. aku terkejut sangat bila dengar hal ini dari mulut dia sendiri! iyelah, dari gaya dia menunjukkan yang dia tu still solo dan macam takde perasaan untuk bercinta ni. hmm..entahlah. aku rasa sangat sedih. dia kata ibu dia sudah ada calon untuk dia, dan dia pun tidak kisah. pilihan orang tua katanya paling baik dan dia tidak perlu keluarkan kos untuk mencari calon sendiri. masa aku dengar tu aku tertanya-tanya, betul ke nak mencari calon tu memerlukan kos yang tinggi? tapi tidak aku suarakan pada si dia. aku hanya menjadi pendengar yang setia. mungkin memang tiada jodoh antara kami. mungkin kami ditakdirkan untuk menjadi sahabat dan tidak lebih dari itu. aku harap dia akan bahagia dengan pilihan keluarganya. dan aku berharap hati aku ini dapat menerima yang si dia sudah berpunya dan aku patut berputus asa.

sociocentrism

sociocentric thinking.hmm...it's a group of people who think their ideologies are the truth. For example, a group of students saying the Darwin's theory of human evolving from primates are true and they won't believe otherwise. They won't even really do research about this matter. This is being a sociocentric thinking.
Uncritical thinkers like them are actually confused between "loyalty" and "dumbly-agree-and-support-without-thinking-what-is-wrong-or-right".

to cure this "We are RIGHT!" thinking, self-awareness is the answer. People usually recognise when others are wrong. So if these sociocentric people can be aware of their own wrong ideologies, than they can change their way of thinking.

Favourite Colour?

Sometimes knowing the favourite colour of the person you had a crush on can make a difference. A difference to yourself. You might make it your new favourite colour!

This happened to a friend of mine. He had a crush on this girl in our co-curricular class.
He's been eyeing on the girl for a few months. His favourite colour is orange. His bagpack is orange in colour, his shoes, most of his shirts and his stationery. Thank goodness he didn't dye his HAIR orange!  This girl is very cute. She doesn't talk to the opposite sex. Well, except if it's under official business she'll talk. So as a friend, I became his representative.
When I gave my report which consists of her profile, my friend became very enthusiastic!
He started to like love the colour of PINK, he read BOOKS which he never read before and he tried to talk to her. Since he hold a position in the club, he found a way to talk to her.
This is when my job as a representative ended.
Ever since then I can see him wearing pink tie, pink shirt, pink phone-strap etc.

Well, what d'ya know! LOVE changes one's favourite COLOUR. and to think PINK! a sweet colour for the beginning of my friends' love story.

homesick

being an old women, i dare not to say that i am homesick. but to be frank, I AM HOMESICK!

gah! how i miss them soooooo much! 

i was to be transferred to a new place called Frankfurt. that's thousands of miles away from my parents!! why must i be transferred here....... you cruel boss!

i used to think you are my only one. but time passes by and we were getting drift apart. so i made a decision that will change my life.our life.

it has been so long that i have not seen your face. but i gotta be strong because it's me who has made the decision to let go of you.
